Maple Leafs Sign Christian Hanson To One Year Deal
The Toronto Maple Leafs have resigned 24 year old restricted free agent forward Christian Hanson to a one year deal.
Hanson will be entering his second season in the NHL, after scoring two goals and adding seven assists in 32 games last season.
During his 38 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies, Hanson added 12 goals and 19 assists.
The large forward showed some great play last season, and hopefully he can continue to grow in his second year with the Leafs.

Sunday on Toronto radio station AM 640, Brian Burke discussed news on contract talks with Nikolai Kulemin, and how things have stalled.
Burke stated that the talks have hit a standstill and that he believes that the Kulemin and his agent are overvaluing the services of the Russian winger who scored 16 goals along with 20 assists in 78 games last season with the Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maples announced that Goaltender Jonas Gustavsson has signed a two-year contract extension.
Gustavsson will earn an average of $1.35 million per season.
